Speedometers

Electronic VDO speedometers for replacement dashboards, kit cars, trucks, buses and special vehicles. SingleViu speedometers come in 80 mm and 100 mm with scales from 60 to 300 km/h, plus 90 mph and 140 mph faces, and run on 12 V or 24 V; some are sold as the gauge only. The Cockpit Vision speedometer is 140 mm with a 125 km/h scale, in 12 V and 24 V.

An electronic speedometer reads pulses from a speed sender on the gearbox or a wheel, or from the vehicle speed signal, and is calibrated to the vehicle on installation so that the reading matches the real road speed after a tyre size or diff ratio change. VDO speed pulse generators and impulse senders are under Senders & Sensors > Speed Sensors.
