Navigation Sensors

Veratron navigation sensors for boats. Rudder angle sensors come in single-station (10 to 180 Ω) and dual-station (5 to 90 Ω) versions to drive rudder angle gauges. Sumlog impeller transducers measure boat speed in 8 to 18, 30 and 50 knot ranges. Wind sensors come in NMEA 2000 and analogue versions, and the Veratron GO modules add GPS/GLONASS positioning or Bluetooth data to a display. The NavSensor gives pitch and roll from an inertial sensor.

Match a rudder angle sensor to the gauge by resistance range and station count, and a log transducer to the speed range of the gauge. For networked sensors, check that the display reads NMEA 2000. These sensors are quoted to order; add one to a quote and the parts desk confirms the price.
