Oil Temperature Gauges

VDO oil temperature gauges, 52 mm, for engine oil on performance cars, towing vehicles, trucks and plant. Cockpit International gauges read 50 to 150 °C in 12 V or 24 V, Cockpit Vision gauges read 50 to 150 °C in 12 V, and SingleViu gauges read 150 °C or 300 °F and run on either voltage.

An oil temperature gauge reads a VDO sender in the 322.8 to 18.6 Ω range. The sender usually goes into the sump plug, an oil filter sandwich plate or a port on the oil cooler line, so check the thread there (often M12x1.5, M14x1.5 or 1/8"-27 NPTF) before ordering. Do not pair a 150 °C gauge with a 120 °C coolant sender: the resistance curves differ and the reading will be wrong.
