Pressure Sensors

VDO pressure senders for oil, transmission and air pressure gauges, in 0 to 5, 0 to 10 and 0 to 25 bar ranges. Sender-switches combine the gauge signal with a warning contact for a low-pressure lamp, set at points such as 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 or 0.8 bar. Pressure switches (normally open or normally closed, from 40 to 250 kPa) drive a warning lamp alone. Threads include 1/8"-27 NPTF, M10x1 and M18x1.5, and some car-specific manifold pressure (TMAP) sensors are listed here too.

Match the pressure range of the sender to the gauge scale, and the thread to the engine port. Insulated-contact (two-pole) senders are for engines without a chassis earth, such as many marine and some truck installations; standard senders earth through the engine block. VDO pressure gauges read senders in the 10 to 184 Ω range.
