Digital Tachographs

VDO tachograph units and spares for trucks and buses: the MTCO 1390 modular tachograph and the DTCO digital tachograph, with the CTC II programmer, DTCO and MTCO programming cables, the MTCO 1390 installation console, tachograph motors, stylus kits, tray slide kits and coloured 8-pin connector housings.

A digital tachograph records driving time and speed to driver cards and its own memory; a modular unit records to a paper chart. Calibration and sealing are done by approved tachograph centres. Match spares by the VDO part number on the unit, and check the model (1318, 1390 or DTCO) before ordering cables or housings. Programming cables are specific to MTCO or DTCO units. If you are not sure which spare fits, send the parts desk the model and part number from the type plate on the unit.
