VDO marine gauges sorted by what they measure, for boat builders and owners replacing a single instrument. The range covers tachometers for inboard and outboard engines, oil pressure and vacuum gauges, water and oil temperature gauges, fuel level gauges, voltmeters, ammeters and hour meters, mostly from the Cockpit International series in 52, 80 and 100 mm. Most electrical gauges come in separate 12 V and 24 V versions, and mechanical vacuum gauges are listed too.
On a boat, check the supply voltage (12 V or 24 V), the earth system of the engine and the sender already fitted. A gauge must use the same resistance range as its sender: 10 to 184 Ω for pressure, 287.5 to 22.7 Ω for 120 °C coolant, and 3 to 180 Ω or 90 to 3 Ω for fuel.
